The Hot Spots are a group of volunteers who are Ramona residents. This concerned group of individuals formed a committee to hold annual fundraisers to provide vital funds to the Intermountain Fire Department to help with the cost of the day-to-day operations; such as insurance, workers compensation, utilities, etc. The committee understands the importance of community involvement in supporting the Department.
The first annual fundraiser was held in the summer of 2005 with a BBQ dinner and auction held at the Ramona Fairgrounds. The event was well received, over 280 guests attended and our goals were met.
Since that event, The Hot Spots have successfully held additional events every year and have netted over $106,000.00 for the Fire Department. The Hot Spots are known for their "themed" events.
