Firefighter Ron Escobedo comes to us from Mission Viejo, Ca and is one of our Shift Officers. Ron was born in Veracruz, Mexico but raised in Orange County, CA. After graduating from Mission Viejo High School, Ron worked as a bail agent and bounty hunter. Ron got the calling to become a Firefighter after the passing of his younger brother and the events of 9/11. He was overwhelmed with the passion and professionalism the Firefighters had for his family and others. Now Ron attends Saddleback Community College and Santa Ana Community College working towards a degree in Fire Science. Ron has been with Intermountain Fire and Rescue for 11 months and quickly earned the rank of Shift Officer. He continues to learn skills as a Firefighter and has been an asset to Intermountain Fire and the community we serve.

My name is Bud Sullins and I live in Lakeside. I currently work at Sea World as a full time aquarium cleaner. I risk life and limb just so Shamu and all of her aquatic friends can stay clean. As well as spending my time with Intermountain I attend Miramar College obtaining my associates in fire science. While attending Miramar I have obtained my State Fire Marshall EMT Licence and other certificates. When not attending school or cleaning water tanks I like to spend my free time knitting and ice skating. While fire fighting has always been a dream of mine, my ultimate goal is to become the next "American Idol."

Loren was born and raised in South Orange County, CA. She became interested in the fire/ems service when she found out her high school offered both EMT and Fire Science courses. After taking both courses she became an OCFA Fire Explorer in 2002 where she learned basic fire ground operations and stratagies. She obtained her EMT license and was a working EMT for the North County San Diego region for a little over two years. She was introduced to the Intermountain Fire and Rescue Dept. in the fall of 2004 and was an acadamy member for their 2005 class. Aside from her tireless pursuit in the fire service she also enjoys music and is an accomplished drummer with four years of study through the SCHS music program and drum line. Loren is currently a full time student at Saddleback college taking an array of paramedic prep related and GE courses. She hopes to be accepted into a paramedic program with in the next year. Her ultimate goal is to become a fire fighter/paramedic.
